QA Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced QA Automation Engineers with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for a client project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress and a solid programming foundation in JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript. This role requires a strong background in regression and performance testing, test automation strategy, and debugging complex test failures to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Experience: 6-9 years
  • Work Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
  • Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automation tests using Playwright and JavaScript.
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium (TestNG) or Cypress.
  • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to maximize coverage of critical functionalities.
  • Perform regression and performance testing to ensure system stability.
  • Conduct web services testing, with familiarity in Rest Assured preferred.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence quality best practices and drive innovation throughout the testing process.
  • Debug and troubleshoot automation test failures, providing timely resolutions.
  • Maintain version control and collaboration through Git tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or SVN).
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support test data needs.

Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of regression and performance testing.
  • Experience with Oracle and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of Git tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN).
  • Familiarity with Rest Assured for web services testing.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships.
